On 26th June 2006 a new World Record was established during a charity tractor Challenge at Hullavington airbase in Wiltshire.
A total of 2141 tractors simultaneously tilled a field for over 1/2 an hour to establish a new World Record.
Three local men namely Andrew Dawes, Martin Britton and Gary Pearce drove their tractors in the event.
