Look out for your Parish Plan questionnaire which should drop through your letterbox soon!

The questionnaire is based on the ideas and concerns you have raised over the last few months. The idea is to gather information about what is important to people in this parish by giving everyone a chance to contribute their views. There is a questionnaire for every person in the parish, including youngsters who have their own version. We ask everyone to fill out their own copy so that we get everyone's views.

We will then put all this information together to create a shared picture of how we want our villages to be in the future – what it is important to keep and what other amenities or services we want to see.

The Parish Plan will be useful because it will identify things that can be done in the short term to meet people's needs, and it will also enable us to influence local and central government and funders by giving proof of what local people want.

So it is really important that everyone completes the questionnaire. We have tried to make it as easy to fill in as possible because we know everyone has busy lives, but please take a few minutes to answer the questions. It will make a difference. Thank you.
